RUNNING WILD Revamp Touring Line-Up, Improve Press Relations
January 27, 2002RUNNING WILD mainman Rock'n'Rolf has posted the following message on the group's official web site at www.running-wild.de:
First of all I wish you a happy new year.
Again there are some interesting news. The fact that Peter Pichel is acknowledged as bassist for the next tour [in support of the new album The Brotherhood] might be already known, but now Matthias Liebetrud at the drums is also acknowledged as well as Bernd Aufermann as the new guitarist. As you know, the first concert in Germany will take place on March 21, 2002. Probably we will play before some shows in Spain, which however is not yet really confirmed. Our support is REBELLION the new band around ex-GRAVE DIGGER [guitarist] Uwe Lulis.
Further news are that due to the adjustment of the [German] Hammer [magazine's attitude] concerning traditional heavy metal (see [issue with the] GRAVE DIGGER title story) as well as the fact that meanwhile probably the entire editorship from the times where the Hammer caused me some uneasiness changed and therefore there will be a better cooperation in the future again. Because I think it probably makes no sense for making today's persons responsible for the acts of their predecessors.
The machinery runs and all involved ones are really looking forward on the release of the album as well as to the next tour.
Greetings and 'Keep the Flag'
Rock'n'Rolf
